Residential Dry Rot
This structure had a problem of a continuous water leak over many months. The water damage resulted in dry rot of the studs in addition to the drywall contaminated with microbial growth. Our team performed mold mitigation services following the IICRC S520 Standard for Mold Mitigation, resulting in a clean and ready to rebuild structure. There were some serious hoops we had to jump through to make this environment safe for the homeowners to renter and begin the rebuild process. One of the largest battles involved was drying out the floor joists after the sub-floor had been removed, prior to mold mitigation.
