Tis' the Season for Mold
8/2/2016 (Permalink)
With such a rainy, wet and humid summer in Vermont, the Green Team at SERVPRO of Burlington/Middlebury seem to be encountering a fair amount of mold mitigation projects.
Molds are generally not a problem indoors unless mold is given the proper conditions to grow. The key to mold control is moisture control. If you sustain a water damage in your indoor environment, it is best to dry water damaged areas within 24-48 hours to prevent mold growth. If mold does become a problem in your home, cleaning up the mold and getting rid of the excess water or moisture is most important!
If you discover discoloration that concerns you or if you sustain a water damage, feel free to call on the SERVPRO of Burlington/Middlebury Green Team to help you assess your situation. Our crews are IICRC certified in both Water Damage Restoration and Mold Mitigation. Our certified and trained technicians are ready to get you back to your life and "Like it never even happened"
